The less you put into a home, the more meticulous you must be.
For this modern custom home, designed by de Hoog Kierulf Architects, we created curved walls and a 3-storey architectural concrete spine to seismically support the house. This was to accommodate the windows which were the big feature, spanning through floors. Key features include flush baseboard and casing with shadow line reveals, floating maple stair treads, architectural concrete and Alaskan yellow cedar windows.
