Esquimalt Adventure Park

We were contracted to build the Esquimalt Adventure Park, which offers multiple play structures, a splash pad with a Mega Soaker (large water dump bucket), a complete fitness circuit, washrooms and change facility – and more.

The splash pad, surfaced with an intricate multi-coloured checkerboard pattern, sandblasted for comfortable grip, provides functionality and visual interest. Complementing the splash pad are two children’s playgrounds with a ‘pour in place’ rubber surface made from 3,700 recycled tires. The west coast inspired washroom building features a multi-pitched sloped roof, board form concrete and cedar privacy screening offering both function and an aesthetically pleasing entrance to the park.
