Vic Ave Kitchen

Vic Ave: A custom residential kitchen renovation featuring exquisite details and finishes.

No details were overlooked for this private residence in Victoria, BC. Highlights included a functional floor plan that eliminated corners and added additional storage to the island, baltic birch drawer boxes, and soft-closing drawers. In addition, the back wall of the kitchen was made perfectly symmetrical, which meant covering the fridge in panels to mirror the other side of the wall. Electrical was hidden behind what looked like cabinetry. The adjacent hallway space was transformed into a food pantry with a built-in desk and wine storage.

Our home is over 100 years old which presented many challenges. In addition, these challenges often impacted design and engineering requirement which also influenced timing and budgets. The Story team was able to work closely with us to manage through these challenges and overachieve on our final vision for the award winning renovation. Their commitment to trust, transparency and communication really made all the difference to us.
